Rogerson stands down as Guiseley chairman

Phil Rogerson has announced today that, as part of his preparation for retirement, he will be stepping down as chairman of Guiseley AFC with immediate effect.

He will retain his club directorship and will continue as Finance Director until the end of the current season.

The club's embryonic community initiatives and Academy team are set to become a larger part of the club's future plans and Mr Rogerson will focus on these throughout the 2012/2013 season until they become established.

The role of Chairman will pass to long-term benefactor and club director Steve Parkin, with Neil Shackleton acting as his deputy.

Club Secretary Adrian Towers will take over the day to day running of the club as Chief Executive Officer.
